Stony Brook women's basketball team defeated Longwood 85-49 on Monday night at Island Federal Arena. Seawolves had a strong performance in all aspects of the game, including shooting, rebounding, and turnovers.

Stony Brook led by as many as 45 points in the third quarter and finished with a commanding 85-49 victory. Zaida Gonzalez, Gigi Gonzalez and Khari Clark each scored 16 points to pace the Seawolves offense.

Longwood was held to just 26 percent shooting and had 21 turnovers. Redshirt senior Adriana Shipp-Davis led the Lancers with 11 points, while Anne-Hamilton LeRoy scored nine and Frances Ulysse added a career-high nine.

Lancers are back in action Thursday at Duquesne. Tip at Kerr Fitness Center on the La Roche University campus is slated for 11 a.m.
